Yes, but we’re still very small and that makes it a lot easier. From the very start I created a Vision and Mission statement for the company that I shared with everyone. We used this to guide our roadmap and what we wanted our community to be. I also created a list of 10 values for our corporate culture. But, I think one of the best things you can do to shape your culture is to tightly manage your hiring process. You won’t always succeed 100%, but it’s easier to keep unpleasant people out than to deal with them once they are in.
