Yes, but I wonder if I’m not eating quite as much overall now in the 24 hour period. I don’t measure out or track my intake. Before, I think I was clearly eating when I wasn’t even hungry.

Oh, it’s breakfast time. I really should eat something before my meeting.

Now, I just wait until noon and I’m truly hungry then. No question about it!

Experiencing real hunger again shows me that so much of my previous eating was out of convenience, timing, and maybe even boredom.

I’m not restricting myself during the 8 hour window. I eat a lot, but only until I’m comfortably full. I don’t gorge or force myself to eat more than I want.
