This is a very insightful piece. Thank you for writing it, and acknowledging that the Tech industry needs to wake up and recognize the larger societal and economic problems we must address.

There are living and breathing human beings who are negatively impacted every time we gleefully succeed in automating something in the name of efficiency and progress, breathing a sigh of relief when we can take the human component out of some process.

I love Tech. I’ve spent my whole career in Tech. But we can’t operate in our little bubble anymore and shield our eyes from those outside our inner circles.
