The story editor is back in the mobile app
When I first started writing here many years ago, I gave myself the challenge to write and publish a story every day for a month. I wrote a surprising number of stories using the mobile app!
An idea would pop into my head, and I just had to get it out. Pulling out my laptop was a pain and slowed me down. But my phone was always right in my pocket when inspiration struck.
Unfortunately, one day, Medium removed the story writing feature from the mobile app. You could no longer write a new story starting from the app. Even worse, you could no longer quickly edit mistakes in one of your published stories.
I used to make quick edits in the mobile app all the time. I’d review one of my published stories and catch a misspelled word or grammatical error. It was easy enough to fix on the phone quickly — until they removed editing from the app, that is.
Well, good news! If you update your app, you’ll see that writing and editing in the mobile app are back. Check it out today.
