I started offering a paid subscription on Substack about a month after I launched. I guess I got lucky, since I had readers signing up almost immediately. It's not a huge income stream for me, but it's a lot more than I make on Medium. Plus, I connect it more deeply with my other services like my community, courses, and coaching.
