I had a similar experience many years ago with guidance for my young self. Too many wildly-diverse options (e.g., engineer, lumberjack, priest).

I think that multipotentialites often run into this issue. So many options and interests that it’s hard to choose a direction. Sometimes you can blend a few interests and talents together, but it’s not easy.

When you have numerous paths open to you, it does help to come at it from the side of the destination. Even if you’re capable of doing almost anything, only a few options will fully enable the actual lifestyle you really want.
