All of the algorithm and rule changes here over the years drove me into the arms of Substack a couple years ago.

I'm thankful for that. Otherwise, I never would have become a serious and consistent newsletter publisher. Now, my revenue from Substack is 9X my Medium income.

I'm expanding and creating another publication using Ghost. I never put all of my eggs in one basket.

I love writing, and I do it because I want my audience to actually read it. Medium only shows my stories to a fraction of my following now. But, my newsletter goes into every single subscriber's inbox.
